“The ideal school should be a cross between Harvard and Disneyland; educational excellence and the happiest place on earth.”-unknown
Although there have been some changes in the leadership of Benjamin Franklin Middle School, our core values of developing the academic, social, and emotional growth of our students remains the same. I am pleased to share that on October 14, 2015, I was appointed the new Principal of Benjamin Franklin Middle School. I am honored to be serving in this new capacity.
It is with extreme enthusiasm that I lead the BF staff on our journey to cultivate the intellectual growth of critical thinkers, problem solvers, innovators, effective communicators, and globally aware citizens. The staff at Benjamin Franklin Middle School is committed to providing data-driven instruction to our students. We believe that through collaborative planning, in-depth analysis of data, and interwoven dedication to all students in our building; our school will continue to exemplify a culture of excellence. I am committed to working collaboratively with staff, families, and other stakeholders to foster an environment of intellectual rigor and social harmony. The hallmark of an “ideal school” is a shared vision that all students deserve an equitable and quality education.
The value of strong home/school partnerships cannot be overstated. It is an honor to have the opportunity to educate your most prized possessions. Please know that your feedback and input is encouraged and welcomed. I look forward to working collaboratively with all members of the BF community to assist our children in actualizing their potential and creating our “ideal school”.
